Our Roots
Lebanon Cooperative Nursery School (LCNS) was founded in 1973 by community parents determined to provide an affordable, quality preschool experience for the region's children. Still going strong today, LCNS operates out of the rear building of the First Congregational Church on Lebanon Green and boasts two cheerful classrooms and an enclosed outdoor play area. The school offers a three-day/week program for three and four-year-olds.
Lebanon Cooperative Nursery School Mission
We believe that children thrive in an environment which values their own uniqueness, while providing support and opportunities to grow emotionally, socially and creatively. By building on each child’s strengths, interests and curiosities, we guide each child to explore the world around them as well as develop new abilities and form close relationships.
